Zonta International is a worldwide service organization of executives in business  and the professions working together to advance the status of women.

Zonta International is an organization with approximately 33,000 members in more than 1200 clubs in 68 countries.

We meet the first Wednesday. of each month at Lockwood Senior Apartments at 6 pm

Sister to Sister events occur during the year to allow members to network and socialize with one another.

Major Service Projects:

• Safety Town— Annual event that provides safety information for children entering school. This is a week long program with 3 sessions per day for children ages 4yrs to 5yrs old. Many volunteers from our community are teaching during this week, from our local Police Officers, Teachers, Fire Department. Water Safety, Play ground, Fire, Animal safety is covered during this week as well as songs, and a graduation ceremony at the end of the week.

• Heart Health, Red Dress Brunch - Heart health awareness program for women. This is an informational morning featuring Local Doctors speaking about the awareness of Woman's symptoms for Heart Disease. A Heart Health Brunch is served.

• Girls & Business. - Joint program with the Fenton Regional Chamber of Commerce for junior and senior girls to encourage them to pursue entrepreneurship.

A year of fund raising!

• Euchre Tournaments / Spring and Fall TBA.
• Golf outing June 2, 2011, Spring Meadows Country Club to benefit YWCA of Greater Flint

We will be working on future Scholarships, continued support for the Woman's Shelter, and other woman's  issues.
